Release Process
Novari follows an agile scrum methodology in development and release process. Our code deployment and release process ensures stability, confidence, and clear communication for every update. We follow a structured schedule, deploying to the test environment at the start of each iteration and moving to production the following week. Releases are carefully reviewed, with QA and key stakeholders making a “Go/No-Go” decision before deployment. For urgent fixes, patches go through a fast-tracked approval process to ensure quality without disrupting the schedule. Each release follows a checklist to minimize risks, and dedicated engineers monitor deployments to quickly resolve any issues. This process ensures smooth, well-tested updates while maintaining system reliability and minimizing downtime.
Novari works on a two-week iteration with overlapping regression or Test Push and production pushes.
Iteration Launch:
At the launch of the iteration, there is a continuous process of development along with ongoing testing and items are passed back and forth between QA and Developers until all identified defects are fixed and the item is deemed ready for regression testing.
Test Push:
The code is implemented to our test environment and is available for our clients to test. This push into the test environment is communicated to all stakeholders through release notes.
Prod Push:
The items in the Test environment are being implemented into the Production environment. The Production pushes are always done after regular business hours to minimize any disruptions. An email notification is sent to all stakeholders after a prod push is successfully completed.
A test and Prod push is generally scheduled every other week and can be identified with a reference Iteration number
