Novari eRequest requisitions now automatically lock to the first user who opens it. The requisition remains locked to that user while they keep it open in a browser window or tab. This feature should eliminate the scenario of users going to save only to find out the requisition has already been updated by another user.
Additional Details:
Only the user with the lock can edit the requisition (others can view in read-only mode)
Requisitions unlock when the user navigates away or 90 minutes passes without an action (e.g., Save)
Requisitions do not always instantly unlock when window/tab is closed - to account for this there is a check every 5 minutes to unlock all requisitions that are no longer active/opened
The "Lock Status" shows up on the list under the existing "Status" column and on the requisition summary header

"Lock Status" is a filterable field: the options are "Locked" and "Unlocked"
“Locked” shows both requisitions locked to the current users and others
Quick Process will skip over any locked referrals
This includes requisitions locked to the current user, as they would already be open in another window/tab
Admins can override the lock in the requisition "Settings" tab
This will assign the lock to them so they can make changes, or they can navigate away to unlock the referral for someone else to go into
The original user who has the lock will no longer be able to save their work, provided that when they go to save it's currently locked to another user and/or it has been updated by another user
