Meditech Scanned Documents Failure
We have seen instances where client HL7 messages to Meditech are not pushing documents through as expected. An example we have seen is:
A user is reporting that Scanned Documents are not populating into MEDITECH from Novari. They stated it seems to only be occurring for one doctor's patients. It had occurred once before and it was related to not having an account linked. However, the four that were reported as not crossing all have accounts linked.
The first step a client should take to remedy this issue, is to see if their Novari Connect server is running as expected and restart it if necessary. The issue is typically resolved by taking this step. Additionally, the client should ensure the Novari Connect (service) is set to start automatically on VM/Server restart
However, in this case, Patient Account being added after the case is transmitted. The team reviewed the logic for sending a Coldfeed document, and it does rely on an account number. To resolve: Add the patient account (View Patient/Case Details - Provider's Office - Change History under Patient Actions) to the wait list entry prior to being scheduled/submitted on a surgical block or transmitting.
